I am a first year interior design student at Falmouth University, UK.
I was born in Czech Republic, I moved to Britain at the age of 11 years old. I am extremely passionate about architecture and interior design. My hobbies are: painting, drawing and sewing where I enjoy experimenting with different materials.
Being born in Czech Republic, Prague has always been an inspiration due to its beautiful, preserved architecture. Similarly, growing up in a small village surrounded by a scenic nature I always felt free and calm. This feeling has embedded into my memories and thus I often seek out nature, which also inspire me. However it’s equally important to see artists and designer’s work to be stimulated, so I love to visit galleries, museums and exhibitions.
With the hopes of doing Erasmus (studying abroad) in my first semester of second year I want to be able to consume the city’s culture and creativeness. I am curious to be able to study at a different university to see their approach towards architectural teachings. I believe it is important to try and live somewhere else even for a short period of time to open up your horizons.
